For the people’s point of view, military schools are very strict and harsh for the students; but it is not completely true. Military academies are only strict whenever any student breaks rules and regulations of the academy. Parents of troubled teens have fear that if they admit their child in such schools they will lose child’s love. In such cases they refuse the option of military schools. But if they discuss with the academy’s counselors about the academy’s teaching methods and way of treating students they will come to know the plus points of the military institution. These institutions are also beneficial for those teens who are struggling with academic and adjustment problems and not interested to continue their education in private schools.

 

Parents who do not want to see their child destroying their own life due to teenage programs can send their kids in troubled teen military schools. In the beginning the struggling teenager can face uncomfortable and adjust problem due to rules and regulations. But after sometime he/she will start loving the academic environment. Personal development, self reliance and sense of authority are created in the minds of the teens so that they can fight with the problems which they can face in their upcoming years. Adolescents need to wear the uniforms like cadets of the army. It can be very interesting for the adolescents as they start behaving like real army cadets. They also setup their mind to work in military or army in future. 

 

 

Military camp programs for struggling teens are offered by the military academy itself as in such camps the teenagers can take part in drill training activities. In these camping programs the teenagers are taken into the mountains and forests campsites so that they will learn how to deal with the situations when resources are less. It is not true that these academies only use strict and adventurous programs but also provide various enjoyment activity programs. These pleasurable activities for troubled youth may include dance, music, self cooking, wildlife photography, campfires and other enjoyable competitions.  

 

Boarding schools are also present that follow some of the education methods like military academy but not completely. They don’t follow severe and too much of restricted activities for the adolescents. The boarding schools are co education systems in which all the boys and girls are educated under a similar roof. They are allowed to communicate and share their problems freely. In these boarding academies the girls and boys help each other in their academic problems. The boarding facilities after schools are offered to the girls and boys in separated dormitories. The parents of stressed and anxious kids can also admit their children in these schools for struggling teens.
